AS+P is delighted with the UEFA Executive Committee's decision to let the 2027 Europa League Final take place in the ‘Heart of Europe’ and thus, in our hometown of Frankfurt.
We congratulate our client Eintracht Frankfurt Stadion GmbH on this success, prevailing in the selection process against strong competition from Bucharest and Glasgow.

Together with PROPROJEKT and in close cooperation with Eintracht Frankfurt, the German Football Association (DFB) and the City of Frankfurt am Main, AS+P worked on two thematic areas (sectors) of the UEFA bid dossier: In the ‘Stadium’ and ‘Mobility’ sectors, our services included maps and plans to illustrate the bid concept.

The stadium plans depicted the location and arrangement of the required areas and functions in the stadium and its surrounding. The site plans embedded the bid concept in the overall urban space to visualise the visitor streams and the associated mobility concept as well as available hotels and training locations.

Planning and building for sport structures and proceedings have been a matter close to AS+P’s heart for decades. Over the years, we have acquired extensive expertise as a facilitating intermediary and participant in application processes for mega events. In addition to planning for inter­national sports events, we also take on planning and coordination assignments related to FIFA World Cups™.

While we enthusiastically support mega sport events around the world, as a planning office based in Frankfurt, we naturally have a special connection to the Metropolis on the Main and are looking forward to another major football event in our hometown.
